We have scheduled a “back-yard picnic” at the Armour’s Hotel in Red Boiling Springs for our annual Johnson Family Reunion.
The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under. Everyone will be responsible for paying for their own meals at the hotel. A deposit has been given to the hotel to cover any necessary taxes and gratuity.
The reunion will take place on the grounds of the hotel. Debbie Emery and her crew will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw, etc. We hope to enlist local cousins to provide freezers of homemade ice cream for dessert. Please let us know if you plan to attend (and how many you will be bringing with you) so that we can help Debbie in planning the picnic fare.
Begin arriving about 4:00 on that afternoon. Picnic supper will be ready about 5:30 and you are welcome to stay and visit until dark. Out-of-towners are encouraged to stay at the Armour’s. You will receive a most warm welcome by the Emerys and their staff.

There are still a few of the Johnson History Books that were distributed last year available. Please bring yours back with you especially if you had added any information so that we all may add it to our books.
